2015-02-05Spent the afternoon snowshoeing through Mt. Snow’s grounds.  The patterns on the trees are much more intricate than I had ever realized.  Happy to know that making myself look for beauty means that I see new things… while feeling a bit chagrined that I had to have a personal challenge in order to do it.

2015-02-01Driving home from Mt. Snow, where my kids were skiing and snowboarding today, we saw this mass of frozen waterfall on the side of the road.  My oldest son said it was a great option for “beauty of the day”, and so when I pulled over, he took the shot for me.  (And I love that he thought of this!)

2015-01-30The view from my kitchen window wins.  Daffodils are, of course, purchased, probably imported from somewhere far warmer than we are.  But it’s fun to have them as a reminder of what is to come.  And to me, spring is far, far easier to find beauty in!

2015-01-29Cold night today, but as I was out with my daughter, going to the car after a knitting class and a zumba class, we paused for a second to notice how pretty the streets were.  Definitely not something that I would have done if I had not made the New Year’s resolution.  Not so sure my daughter was as happy about stopping in the weather, however.
