Downtown Brattleboro has many churches, but this one has been turned into a performance center named, aptly, “The Stone Church”.  As twilight set in, the glow from inside the church contrasted with the snow outside and the cross-shaped statue.  I stopped to take a photo after my daughter and my normal weekly outing to knitting and zumba class.

Many people on Facebook found this one kind of “Halloween like”.  One called it “kind of gothic”.

I guess beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.  I thought it was warm and comforting!
