Winter won’t be over here in southern Vermont for at least another three or four weeks.  Even then, it can still seem very much like winter.  (I’ve seen seen five inches of snow here on May 20th one year.)

But the leaves of one of the water plants I’ve tried to overwinter is still going strong in its (smelly) water.  Beautiful!
